Rieley K. We have been coming to the Blackfalds Depot for over 5 years now, driving from Ponoka. What started as convenient hours with them being open on Sundays has turned into more than just a trip to the bottle depot. We have relocated to Lacombe and still choose the Blackfalds bottle depot for convenient drop off of our business bottles. Their personable team, convenient drop off and refund later system is always a pleasure.
The team is always there to lend a hand and incredibly pleasant.

Cheryl S. They do amazing things for community groups - they allow times for folks to come in and donate massive amounts of bottles. Which they then count and issue a cheque for later. This is soooooo convienent as a customer and a person who organized a bottle drive. It makes the wait so much shorter when they don't have someone coming in with 1000 bags of bottles!
Heather H. Blackfalds Depot deserves to be applauded because they take time and care about their customers. The facility is always clean and when their is a line of customers, they open more desks for counting. They do a fantastic job! Every time I go in the store, they are always collecting empties to help raise money for local organizations.

Barb T. I drive 40 minutes each way to go to Blackfalds. The closest town is Lacombe from me but I do not find them friendly or helpful. I will continue to make this trip since they really know how to brighten a day. I have been helped by different staff and not once have I ever had a negative experience. They have never seemed annoyed when I have to chase my son instead of emptying another bag, they just giggle and then ask him how his run was. There aren't enough words that I could express my love for this place, keep up the great work Blackfalds, you have my lifetime business.

Frances W. I came on Sat. Dec 27th. I was first to be after opening. They even came out to help me and I was in and out in about 15 min. That is really fast and I love going here. I collect bottles from our condo in Lacombe. They never complain about the day.

Ryan J. My 4 year old daughter likes to help me take back the bottles. We came in earlier today and were the first and only people there. She always knows where the milk crates are so she can stand and help me unload the bottles. She brought in her "Disney Frozen" purse today and put it on the counter. Two different staff members went out of their way to ask her about it and have a brief conversation about the movie with her. It made both of our days.
Amy H. For the outstanding service that they provide every day, everytime I go in every employee is busy with some task, but they are never to busy to say hello to the patrons. They keep the depot clean and tidy so there's no overwhelming smells when you go in. It's nice to go into to a place where there's a smile on everyone's face :)
Linda M. They have a nice big flat parking lot with large carts waiting outdoors for us to use to get our bottles inside. The door is automatic so no problem getting inside. The staff are always so friendly and work so quickly. The facility is clean and bright and doesn't smell like others I have been in. A nice place to wash and dry your hands and a lovely clean wash room right up front. We all need to recycle but must admit - it is not always easy. Our depot in Blackfalds makes it very easy. They also take bottles and give the proceeds to our local library. Can't say enough about them and could offer no way to improve what they are doing. Messy job for the staff but they take it in their stride with a smile on their face. Well done Blackfalds Facility.

I Big CHEER to Blackfalds Cosmos bottle depot We went in and the first thing my daughter said was boy it smells nice in here Yes I had to agree there was a pleasant CLEAN smell and the place was also very neat tidy and clean. The young man who served us was pleasant and efficient and quick. I will be taking by returns back there again Thank you and a Big CHEER and Applauds to them

After driving past the Red Deer depots and seeing a line up, i thought i would take the short drive to Blackfalds and check there. there was a few cars there, but as i was carrying in my bags of recycles, i was able to be taken care of immediately. the gentleman who looked at me was quick, thorough and very efficient. i was probably on location no longer than about 10 minutes from when i pulled up until i was driving away. the shop it self was clean and organized, and like i said before, very efficient. i will be recommending this location to friends and relatives.

This depot is the cleanest one I've ever seen, The staff are all so friendly you can tell they can have fun while working and still are very efficient at what they do. i have not heard any bad comments about Blackfalds depot they make it not to be a chore to take your empties back :) There should be awards for best performance at depots this one would have my ballot
